What are the facts? 45% of women and 26% of men experience inter- personal violence. Women constitute 89% of all those who experience 4 or more incidents of domestic violence 44% of all female murder victims are killed by a current or former partner, compared with 6% of male victims The CPS convicted 3,494 women and 55,000 men for all domestic abuse-related incidents in2009-10

What service do we offer? The Dyn Project provides a 3 tier service: Advocacy Dyn Wales Helpline- 0808 801 0321 Awareness Raising/dynwales.org

Dyn project statistics 2013/14 Project received 373 referrals for our advocacy service (Cardiff), previous year (513) Dyn Wales Helpline received over 726 calls Over 12,000 visits to www.dynwales.org Delivered training for over 150 frontline agency staff across Wales

What we did 2013/14 20 men referred & discussed at MARAC 0 men referred to male refuge (Cardiff) 15 men referred to UK male refuges(outside Cardiff) 44 men referred to counselling services 29 men referred to Drug and Alcohol services 44 men represented at SDVC 7 men assisted to participate in Crown Court proceedings..a Safer Wales/Cymru Ddiogelach
