Article 13 Disposal outside the channels of commerce Member States shall lay down that the judicial authorities may order that the goods which have been found to infringe an intellectual property right, as well as the materials and implements used primarily for the creation or the manufacture of the goods in question, be disposed of outside the channels of commerce, without any compensation being due. Article 14 Destruction of goods Member States shall lay down that the judicial authorities may order the destruction of the goods which have been found to infringe an intellectual property right, without there being any entitlement to compensation.

Policy relevant analysis of ”partly open source” strategies –How to implement commercial open source strategies such as dual licensing? Analysis of Trusted Computing and open source –What kind of changes are required to make the licenses and technical implementations interoperable

Deliverables 2/2 Better understanding of the role of open source in collaborative R&D –What companies can learn from open source working methods and potentially save costs in R&D and standards making Risk assessment method for open source components –Potential demo application looking for copyright infringements in source code
