Of Plymouth Plantation There safe arrival at cape cod By: Jenna & Jessica

Introduciton In this section “Of Plymouth and Plantation” Immigrants sailed on horrific seas with little food and little drink. While they traveled, they had many rough experiences due to the weather and the storms that were brought to them. With going through all these hard situations they faced, they were finally brought to a safe land called Cape Cod.

“Being thus passed the vast ocean, and a sea of troubles before in their preparation…” pg.82

“For summer being done, all things stand upon them with a weather beaten face with woods and thickets, represents a wild and savage hue…”

Conclusion This section that we read “ of Plymouth Plantation” was mostly about Immigrants that are on a ship and they were caught in horrible weather and terrible storms. Soon they reached a land called Cape Cod. The land was full of wild beasts, and wild men. Although the immigrants had found this land, they had little food and with the weather changing, it was hard on them.
