7 Statistical achievements - Voting  Women turnout was higher then men across the latest five Assembly Elections in Manipur, Punjab, UP, Uttarakhand and Goa. The higher turnout started with Bihar in 2010 and was also replicated in Puducherry  Youth participation was reportedly higher in all the States than last elections. The profile of participation as expressed in media pointed to a large participation by newly eligible and newly enrolled voters.  Urban Participation: Massive increase in turnout at urban center like Lucknow city over 2007 turnout (increase of 81.3%), Ghaziabad(63.15% increase), Mathura City(65.32% increase), Amritsar(22.56% increase) and Dehradun (21.46% increase).
