2 CAD Solid Primitives The last exercises, Chapter 6, provided a general introduction to creating solid models. Chapter 7 will continue by introducing the different options for creating solid objects from primitive shapes.

3 Step 1: Turn off the Grid. Step 2: CHANGING BACKGROUND TO WHITE Choose from MENU bar TOOLS; OPTIONS Select DISPLAY tab & change Viewport Background Color to 15 (white); Click OK Printing Through Word

4 Step 3: Copy to Clipboard From MENU bar EDIT; COPY TO CLIPBOARD; RASTER; Select Area to copy by specifying two points for box. Step 4: In WORD ( or POWERPOINT ) PASTE

5 In-Class Assignment #27: Cozy Cup Chap 7 - Create the Cozy Cup Object on p. 191 in Project Book. Copy and paste the cup into Microsoft Word (be sure to include all necessary information on the Word document)
