Wiki Sidebar Navigation - Side bar is located on the left hand side of your screen - Best way to navigate to the exact page you want to see - Click “+” to view nested pages - Click “-” to collapse nested pages

Use Case Content »The Use Case content pages are where you will find all of the text and diagrams that will go into the final document This section contains all the working pages for creating content and is where you will probably spend most of your time providing contributions »Each section of the Use Case (Preface and Introduction, Overview and Scope, etc) has it’s own Wiki page »Review log and Consensus Page will be created for each section

Use Case Content (Continued) -Clicking on any of the section names will take you to where the text/diagram is held - Version number Indicates the current version of the Use Case section displayed on the section page - This number only increases if changes are made as a result of the WG meetings

Overview and Scope Section Page - The section page contains the text / diagrams related to the Overview and Scope - Each section page will contain the text/diagrams that are related to it - This link will take you to the bottom of the page where you can download previous versions of the text for this section

Overview and Scope Section Page (Continued) Click on the links within the Previous Versions table to download the Microsoft Word document of the previous version of text for the section - Bottom half of the Overview and Scope page - Sections vary in length - some have many sub-sections while others do not

Gathering Comments Using the Wiki »The Review and Comments Log within Wiki will be used to: Gather feedback from Committed Members, Invited Experts and Other Interested Parties. Document the actions taken by the Workgroup Lead(s) and/or Initiative Coordinator in relation to the comment Understand how each comment adds value to the final product Account for each suggestion, promoting teamwork and a positive environment for those who have dedicated their time to participating in the separate Initiatives

Overview and Scope Review Log - To add your comment into the review log, click “Edit” at the top right corner of the page and then fill out the appropriate fields - Note: Indicating the accurate section number will make it easier for others to locate information quickly and to build off of previous comments, facilitating more discussion Please look at the Appendix for more specific information on how to Edit and Format your comments

Overview and Scope Review Log (Continued) - The responses in Table 2 (shown above) correspond to the comments left in Table 1 (slide 28) - Simply navigate to the row within Table 2 which is assigned the same number as the row in Table 1 where you left your comments. Example: If you left your comment in Row 1 of the first table, the actions taken on your comment will be listed in Row 1 of the table shown above. -This allows for traceability and confirms that all comments have been addressed Now we will click on the Overview and Scope Consensus Page in the sidebar

Overview and Scope Consensus Page - Every Committed Member is allotted a vote in the Consensus Process - To cast this vote, click “Edit” in the top right corner of the page, find your name in the list of Committed Members and indicate your Endorsement of the Use Case Content for that section. NOTE: this list is alphabetical by Organization name

Attaching a File to the Sub-Workgroup Page To attach a file follow these instructions: 1)Click on “Choose File” 2)Browse on your PC to find the file you would like to attach 3)Click “Open” 4)Enter in a Comment about the file (optional) 5)Click “Attach”

Editing Pages »All Pages can be edited within the Wiki by maneuvering through to the desired Page. »When the appropriate Page is obtained, click in the upper right hand corner of the screen. »The Page will appear allowing edits to be made. »Once the edits are made, click in the upper right hand corner of the screen to save changes. 44 If you do not wish to save the changes, click

Formatting Pages »All pages within the Wiki can be formatted according to an individual’s desire. »When adding content to or editing a page, a menu bar appears on the screen which allows formatting options. »As depicted below, there are different options for formatting such as bold, italics, underline, and even font color selection. »Below is an example of a toolbar as it looks on the Wiki when you choose to edit a page: 45

Adding Rows to a Table »If many people comment in a Review Log, there may be a need for more rows. »From the toolbar you can add rows to the table The blue boxes indicate ADDING rows/columns while the red boxes indicate DELETING rows/columns. The arrows indicate whether the addition or deletion will occur above or below the row in which your cursor lies Instructions for adding a row to the Review Log: »1) Click into the last row of the Review Log »2) Click the icon with a horizontal blue box and the arrow pointing to the bottom (this will add a row BELOW the row where your cursor currently lies)

What is the Difference Between Rich Text and Wiki Mark up? »Rich Text- If you are accustomed to HTML editing or other text editing applications, you may find that the Rich Text Editor provides an easier and faster way to create and edit Confluence pages. It allows you to enter content as you would in a Word document and apply formatting simply by clicking icons on a toolbar. »Wiki Markup- Confluence pages are stored internally in a simple content-formatting language called Wiki Markup. The Wiki Markup Editor allows you to edit Confluence pages directly in Wiki markup language. This has the advantage of being faster than the Rich Text Editor for some formatting tasks. 47
