2. What is It?
It’s God against Satan and God bringing about His holy purpose all the way along, being attacked by Satan. 

3. What is It?
Spiritual warfare is a battle between invisible angelic forces that affect you and me. The cause of the war is something you and I can’t see. But the effects are very visible in the kind of problems that we face all the time.

4. Our struggle
Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”(Eph 6:12).

5. Interests of Satan
Satan is not specifically interested in you as an individual because of you.  He is – who he is after is God.

He would destroy us and defeat us, not because he hates us but because he hates God whom we serve and represent. 

7. SATAN’S METHODS OF ATTACK
The battles of spiritual warfare are intense when a person decides to accept Jesus as their Savior.

19. As Believers In Christ
We fight a very real battle against a very real enemy, but we need to know without a doubt that our victory over him is assured (Colossians 2:14-15) .

22. Your Victory and Defeat Reflect on God
When you fail to be what God would have you to be, you become a tool by which Satan strikes a blow at God.  When you and I live as we ought to be, we defend God against that attack. 

23. We Need Help to Win
This is important because if you are engaged in a spiritual battle and need help to win, the help you need is with God the Father, who is in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 1:3 tells us: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.”

The weapons of our warfare can be reduced to one thing-- Obedience.

30. THE ARMOR OF GOD
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.’ 16 ‘In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (Ephesians 6: 14-17)

5. Helmet of Salvation The Helmet of Salvation protects our minds. By wearing it, you prevent the devil from messing with your mind and leading you down a bumpy path into the fire of hell.

6. Sword of the Spirit - The Sword of the Spirit is your faith in Jesus Christ. That sword will keep you from falling on the enemy’s sword of lies and corruption.

37. Prayer is important for Spiritual Warfare
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions, with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 19 ‘Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel…
