All Year Groups LYON June 2015 (S2-S6) Just a reminder to all those pupils going to Lyon, France in June that there is a parents’ evening tonight in the Assembly Hall at 6.30pm. If you and/or your parents /carers cannot attend could you please inform Mrs Albarracin today please. All final payments are due by the end of today and can be settled at this evening’s meeting. All Year Groups SWIMMING NEWS Well done to swimmers Ruairi Kirkwood and Grant Henderson who along with graduate pupil Alistair Kirkwood made up three quarters of the City of Glasgow 4 x 100m Medley team that took Silver at the Scottish Age Groups in Aberdeen! Well done also to Ruairi who made the finals in the 50mBk and 50mFc with both Ruairi and Grant both setting best times in their events! Spring Break Events

All Year Groups HOCKEY NEWS Congratulations to hockey players Jack Jamieson, Jack Cochrane, Fraser Moran and Lexi Sabatelli who were all competing for Scotland U16’s at the HDM International Tournament in the Netherlands over the spring break! The girls played some excellent games and won their tournament with Lexi scoring the goal of the tournament! Well done also to the boys team who played some excellent hockey throughout the tournament and finished second to Russia! Spring Break Events

Committees Comenius Green EYE Committee When: Today (every Thursday) Time: 12.40pm (Bring your lunch as usual ) Where: Social Subjects 3 New participants welcome Ms Morran & Mrs Douglas The following pupils who have indicated they are interested in hosting our visitors from Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Turkey should attend a meeting today (Thursday) in Social Subjects room 3 at lunchtime from 1pm. S4 We also need 8 boys S2-S4 to host German and Dutch Boys, if you are willing and interested please come along to the meeting at lunchtime

Committees Positive Wellbeing Group The Positive Wellbeing group will meet every Thursday in Maths Room 5 @ lunchtime.

S5/6 PROM starts at 6 pm and ends at midnight Grand Central Hotel on the Tuesday16th of June Menu Starter: Lentil and vegetable soup Main Course: Seared chicken breast filled with tomato, basil and mozzarella with buttered fondant potatoes Dessert: Chocolate opera slice with caramel ice cream If anyone has any special dietary requirements please let Zahrah or Sean know before Friday. All payments must be paid by tomorrow to Zahrah or Sean and also.
