2. Fritz Pollard He along with Bobby Marshall was the first African American Football player in the NFL He was also the first black NFL Head Coach He paved the way for many NFL players He has a group named after him in the NFL called the Fritz Pollard alliance

3. Willie O’Ree He was the first black NHL player Even though he was 95% blind in his right eye which would have not let him play hockey he lied about it and played from 1956-1979 and broke the color barrier in hockey San Diego State university presented him with an Award for Outstanding commitment to diversity

4. Jackie Robinson Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier between major league baseball and the negro league After he debuted in 1947 many African American players have made there mark on Major League Baseball like Ken Griffey Jr., Hank Aaron,and Roberto Clemente. He founded the Jackie Robinson Foundation and was on the board of the NAACP

5. He was appointed a United Nations ambassador in 1992 Pele has several charities like Harlem Youth soccer, 46664, Great Ormond Street hospital, and The littlest lamb He also has a scholarship program that benefits children enrolled in the Children’s Aid Society

6. Tiger Woods He founded the tiger woods foundation He also donates to the Rainforest foundation fund He also created the Earl d. woods scholarship program
