Established contact with our Bhutanese Brothers in Fall of 2008 Chandruji/Anand ji and my self visited and identified their needs and wants. –Elders wanted to go to temple –Kids needed counseling –Basic material needs –Warm clothes We did project vastradaan. We supplied vacuum cleaners, coffee makers, house hold cleaners and other things requested by them.

3. http://www.sewausa.org Sewa LGR Activities Counseling for teens Resume building for job seekers Finding Jobs –We were able to find couple of job in Indian restaurant in Detroit area. The leadership of South East Michigan met for HDD and the theme was decided “Welcome Bhutanese Brothers”

4. Sewa LGR Activities HDD –We took vans to Lansing and drove them –They stayed with us for two days –Helped us in understanding each other Cultural night –Ethnic dance and cultural activities. –Network/Social Fund Raising –Medical Project (For unemployed and displaced workers extended to Bhutanese) –Successful http://www.sewausa.org
