2. The Real World Why do we have to get up early every Sunday Morning and go to the Corps for Worship? It is a question every guy thinks about. Worship? Is it really that important? Yes! Look at your calendar and what is the first day of the week? That’s right : SUNDAY! Here are some good reasons to participate in a Worship Service : An opportunity to hear the will of God. An opportunity to be unified in worship. An opportunity to praise God together with our voices. An opportunity to give sacrificially to God’s Work. An opportunity to encourage one another in love and good deeds. The other part of worship is serving others. We are all called to be the greatest by being the servant of all. Now I am messing in your business! This lesson will explore Worship to God through our lives and our service to others.

3. The Real Word Here are some verses calling us to Worship God Corporately: “I love the house where you live, O Lord, the place where your glory dwells.” (Psalms 26:8) “One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.” (Psalms 27:4) “ Let us consider how we spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another – and all the more a you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24 – 25)

4. Real Talk Have you been faithful in your attendance at the Corps? Have you been present in body only? How has that affected you? What kind of a Corps would it be if everyone was as committed to worship and service as you are? Do you have an area of service to your Corps?

5. Real Steps Here are some Servants from the Bible: Abraham – Genesis 26:24 Joshua – Joshua 24:29 David – 2 Samuel 7:5 Paul – Romans 1:1 Jesus Christ – Matthew 20:28 “ the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” Here is something to try this week: Find someone who needs help and provide the service. It might be shoveling a walk off. Mowing a lawn. Bringing in a trash can. Cleaning up after worship on Sunday. Try this next week and then think of something every week that you could do for others. You will be amazed at the joy you feel by helping others! Lord, Make me a servant today!

6. Time to Close Let this be your prayer as we close this lesson: Lord, my heartfelt cry is that as other men look at my life, they would see the life of Jesus shining forth through me. Work in my life and make me like You so that when others see my good works they will give the glory to you. Right now I offer my life to : Obey Your Word without question. Pray without ceasing. Praise you constantly. Worship you consistently. Serve you unconditionally. Amen. Easy to Pray – Now go and live it! Time to MAN UP!
