I NGREDIENTS FOR E NCHILADAS Tortillas Cheese Olives Onions Meats Sauce

E NCHILADA SAUCE PREPARATION 1. In a saucepan pan put in a silver dollar size amount of oil. 2. Add flour to oil on medium heat brown the flour. 3. Add in chili powder stir for a min. 4. Add water and fill saucepan halfway. 5. Thicken sauce with flour, mix with whisk until smooth consistency. 6. Add salt and pepper to taste.

S AUCE CONSISTENCY Sauce needs to be smooth not clumpy or it will not look or taste good! Lumps in sauce will look funny on top of enchiladas. Sauce doesn’t taste good when you bite into a clump of flour. Smooth sauce simply makes presentation look nice.
