Overview of Indicators- xyz National Park Notes to users: Sections of the outer ring can be coloured by selecting and right clicking a specific segment. Choose “Format Data Point.” In the column “Series Option” choose “Fill”, then “Solid fill” and select the colour that corresponds to the indicator rating as per the legend from the drop down options “Color”. Those indicators that are pertinent to the national historic site but have not been rated should be rated “N/R” (grey). Those indicators that are not pertinent to the national historic site should be rated “Not applicable” (white). Ecological Integrity Indicators Indicators (include only the indicators applicable) Measures (Insert rating and trend symbol here from slide 10) (Note: Measures for each indicator are specific to each national park) (Insert rating and trend symbol here) Wetlands Coastal/Marine Overview Provide a brief narrative overview of the state of ecological integrity. Explain why the state/condition ratings are what they are (e.g., “Measure is poor because...”) Explain the major changes in state/condition since the last reporting period (e.g., “Indicator shows a declining trend because...”) Highlight briefly any progress in achieving management results with the goal of improving/maintaining the state of the heritage place (e.g., “Work was done over the last couple years and resulted in xx measure improving in condition from yellow to green.”) Notes to user: Please contact Stephen McCanny, Manager, Monitoring and Ecological Information (819-934-4713) for further guidance.
