5 UNEP’s contributions in the Region 4 main areas of focus Waste Environmental Governance Ecosystems Green Economy Setting regional and country working groups Green Economy assessment and policy development support Sectoral and thematic work, i.e. Sustainable Public Procurement Cross sectoral work, i.e. Green Jobs

6 Waste Gaps and needs assessment on status of implementation of chemicals and waste conventions Development of national strategy and/or action plan for implementation of and compliance with chemicals and waste convention Strengthening national capacities to implement chemicals and waste conventions Enhance regional cooperation in chemicals and waste management and implementation of the chemicals and waste conventions between EU and CA, between CA and neighbours, and within CA UNEP’s contributions in the Region 4 main areas of focus Green Economy Environmental Governance Ecosystems
