The National Research & Training Center on Blindness & Low Vision (NRTC) The NRTC is the only U.S. Department of Education-funded center focused on employment outcomes of persons with blindness or low vision. PROBLEM Visually impaired people have problems with organization: grocery lists, to-do lists, daily planner, calendar, etc. Smart phones can be complicated and expensive. Current audio recorders and planners are not completely effective.
