11. IN-TEXT Gladwell says that “practice isn’t the thing you do once you’re good. It’s the thing you do that makes you good” (559). My favorite take away is that practicing is not just the hard work that goes into improving, but it should be considered the act that makes you good at what you do(Gladwell 559). Gladwell argues that a Mozart wasn’t a great musician until he practiced for 10,000 hours (559).
