2 Statement: You should not eat any food items with fat in it because, it will raise your cholesterol. This statement is false because, although that it does raise your cholesterol, there are bad fats and good fats. The bad fats, saturated and trans increase your cholesterol and have a risk of certain diseases and the good fats, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats lower that high cholesterol risk and protect your heart from such diseases.

3 Also….. Natalie Digate Muth, the pediatrics resident at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, said that “It turns out that not all fat are bad” and she explained the same concept that there is good and bad fats and you just need to be aware of that in your diet.

5 Other reasons why fat is good Everyone needs fat in them. It gives you energy and with that energy, you will be able to be an athletic, healthy person. Remember you need some fat, but not too much in your diet.
