18
DRAWBACKS OF OUR COMMUNITY DASHBOARD 18 The data are not detailed enough to direct action or evaluate the success of specific strategies. The organization maintaining the dashboard does not fund or provide direct client services. No agency or organization is fully responsible for any one indicator. Moving an indicator in the right direction requires action by multiple stakeholders, organizations, and the community at large.
19
BENEFITS OF OUR COMMUNITY DASHBOARD 19 Joint ownership – common language Provides an opportunity to elevate the work of community partnerships and builds their community identity as the key entity for an issue. Helps stakeholders better appreciate how their success is tied to success in other disciplines, jurisdictions or sectors. Helps identify areas needing more attention. Tells a story about the entire community and gauges our collective success.
20
Dashboard Annual snapshot of how our community is doing. Strategic Framework for Action Strategies to achieve our common vision. Convene Conversations Identify and share what more is needed to turn the curve. CAN Work Plan Connect stakeholders and continue the dialogue to promote collaborative action.
