The Strategic Planning Process for the College Four Phase Strategic Planning Process carried out during 2010/11 academic year Phase 1: pre-planning Phase 2: Data Collection Phase 3 Plan development Phase 4 Management & implementation of Plan Key Feature/Elements: 1.Responsive to the Institute Strategic Plan (same 6 Themes with College focus) 2.Significant Staff engagement to encourage ownership 3.Vision statement and Mission statement. 4.Goals. (long-term, developmental) 5.Objectives. (shorter term, sub-elements contributing to goals) Implementation of Strategy The College Team Development Plan translates the Strategic Plan into an Action Plan which identifies priority Deliverables (specific projects) which contribute to the achievement of Objectives/Goals with a strong operational focus.
