Grading 1.Each child will receive an E,S, or N. 90 to 100 - E 90 to 100 - E 80 to 89 - S 80 to 89 - S 79 and below - N 79 and below - N 2. Interim Reports are every 4 1/2 weeks. 3. Accelerated Reader AR is very important! AR will begin in September. Your child will bring home a book and directions.

More AR You can read: ** To your child, **With your child, or **Listen to them read. The AR test is a comprehension test with 5 questions.

Rewards for AR *Your child will start going to the library and checking out books soon. Please take care not to lose them. *If your child meets his/her goal then they will receive a pin for their lanyard. The AR goal for each 9 weeks will be sent home. Homework We are going paperless! We are going paperless! *Monday - Thursday your child’s homework is to read and study. More Rewards Bulldog Bucks The goal for the first 9 weeks is to earn 75 Bulldog Bucks. Cool stuff can be bought with Bulldog Bucks!

Classroom Behavior Please refer to my website for more info. *I use a Positive Discipline Plan. *Children wear a paper wristband. I will give a new wristband each day. *I put a check on the wristband every time s/he does something right.

Communication *Please know that I am here for you! *I will communicate by: the planner, Tuesday folder, a note, phone call, and email. I will stamp the planner every day. I ask you to sign it each afternoon as well.

Please put a jacket or sweat shirt to school to keep in the book bag. Dressing in layers is ideal. Our rooms can sometimes be too cold or too hot.
