1. Curriculum Development Subject-Specific Projects-Algebra II

2. Content Principles for Algebra II Content of the course will be governed by the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills set for curriculum content. A topic will not be included unless it is included in the TEKS or can be directly related as essential to understanding or as a extension. All content will be related to a real-world context.

3. Developing Spreadsheet Lessons in Algebra II Algebra II teachers will adapt a TEKS clarifying activity to use with Vernier’s Graphical Analysis program and/or Microsoft Excel or ClarisWorks. A lesson plan will be developed for adapted activities and will address the problems associated with the six-computer classroom. Fall 1999

4. Developing Video Analysis Lessons in Algebra II Algebra II teachers will create a standards- based lesson that utilizes Scion Image or NIH Image. A lesson plan will be developed for each activity and will address the problems associated with the six-computer classroom. Fall 1999

5. Developing Data Based Lessons in Algebra II Algebra II teachers will create a standards- based lesson that utilizes real-time data collecting probes. A lesson plan will be developed for each activity and will address the problems associated with the six- computer classroom. Fall 1999
