Journal Given all the recent crime (shooting in particular), do you feel safe? Why/why not? Where do you feel the most safe? What can you do to help ensure your safety? Should schools offer cash bonuses for good test scores? Why/why not? If so, how much and where should the money come from?

News Feature Last class period you took notes of news writing. You were assigned 2 stories. ◦Stress that teenagers face ◦Coverage of an event at MCHS You will receive a guideline check sheet over what you include (and what you will be graded for) in both stories.

Lab Time We have lab A scheduled for today (the library for Friday). ◦You will need to type both stories ◦Exchange with a partner and edit (using the AP style guide) If you can not print, have the person editing your page to do so in red type. I will want to see your first draft with editing along with your final draft. Print (if possible) 1 st and final draft of both stories. If you can not print, email it to me (in the subject line put last name: news feature, stress) Use your time efficiently!
