TYPES OF BELT FINISHING The waist belt is a very important part of a pant – its finishing types depends on the style of a pants – Different types of belt finishing are – 1. One piece finishing 2. Two piece with lining or with grip finishing 3. With loops or without loops finishing

4. With extension or cut belt finishing 5. Belt less pant with adjustable belt finishing DETAILS FOR BELT FINISHING 1.One piece finishing : - Folded belt – cut from main fabric – inside turned – can attach with the waist band attaching machine used with folder – used in jeans and cotton trousers – ( continue..)

2.Two piece with lining or with grip finishing This is made up from two pieces – top layer cut from main fabric - inner layer cut from lining or readymade grip – 3.With loops or without loops finishing The belt may be with loops or without loops – in cotton trousers or jeans with loops – in formal trousers without loops as per desire ( continue..)

4. With extension or cut belt finishing In formal trousers – belt extension commonly used – extension on left portion – in cotton or jeans – cut belt ( no extension ) is used – on left portion – 5. Belt less pant with adjustable belt finishing No extra belt – the belt cut with front and back portions – small adjustable belt attach at side seam -

TYPES OF FLY FINISHING Front placket known as fly – its finishing depends on type of trousers – 1. With lining : - In right side placket – while use denim ( heavy material ) - to reduce thickness of fabric – inner layer of placket cut from lining – In woolen fabric, also use lining – because it irritates – ( continue..)
