RMS Interface - Outline n RMS-CRMS-P2 Interface n RMS-CEFMS Interface n RMS-CCASS Interface n RMS-SPS (PD2) Interface
3
RMS Relationships to Other Systems –RMS-CRMS-P2 RMS provides Construction Status Information RMS feeds Headquarters information via P2 –RMS-CEFMS RMS downloads funding information from CEFMS RMS uploads progress payments to CEFMS –RMS-PD2 (SPS) RMS will communicate contract modifications w/SPS via a soon-to-be-released RMS-SPS interface

RMS Relationships to Other Systems –RMS-CRMS-P2 RMS provides Construction Status Information RMS feeds Headquarters information via P2 –RMS-CEFMS RMS downloads funding information from CEFMS RMS uploads progress payments to CEFMS –RMS-CCASS The evaluation will be exported from RMS to CCASS CCASS will provide updated status to RMS thru completion –RMS-PD2 (SPS) RMS will communicate contract modifications w/SPS via a sometime-to-be-released RMS-SPS interface

RMS-CRMS-P2 Interface n Construction Working Estimate n Modifications/Proposed Changes n Feature of Work Schedule n Scheduled/Actual Progress n Major Milestone Events n Construction/Customer Issues
6
This is where the money and appropriation data comes from. This shows the Authorized amount for this Contract(s). These are used to link expenses (gives us the structure). Commitment of Funds (Reduces available $$$) Obligates funds for Payment (ENG Form 93) Financial Tree
7
Construction Working Estimate n Construction Contract n Other Supporting Contract n S&A n Other without S&A n Contingency n Management Reserve CEFMS - Current funding & obligations (Bank) RMS - Projected expenses (Budget)
8
Modifications/Proposed Changes n Award Contract Amount n Signed Modifications n Funded Pending Changes n Unfunded Pending Changes RMS computes contingency by subtracting pending changes from available funding in CEFMS
9
Feature of Work Schedule n Contractor schedules construction by work activities (100’s to 1,000’s) n Actives are grouped by Definable Features of Work (10 to 30) n RMS sends P2 scheduled & actual start and finish dates of each feature RMS rolls Contractor’s NAS up to a feature schedule
10
Major Milestone Events n Contract Award from P2 n Notice to Proceed (NTP) Acknowledged n Beneficial Occupancy Date (BOD) n Construction Completion n Physical Completion n Construction Start Date n Contractor Final Payment (Fiscal)
11
Scheduled vs. Actual Construction Progress RMS-CRMS sends P2 Scheduled and Actual Construction Progress
12
Customer/ Construction Issues n Narrative on Customer Issues n Narrative on Construction Status n Construction Status Code n Primary Delay Code
