ZION (v.22-24) – The HABITATION of God (Psm. 132:13) – HEAVENLY JERUSALEM – Hosts of ANGELS – Joyful assembly (v. 23) – CHURCH OF FIRST BORN ONES – honored before God – JUDGE OF ALL (Heb. 4:13, 2 Cor. 5:10) – SPIRITS OF JUST MEN MADE PERFECT (Heb. 11:39-40) – JESUS: MEDIATOR OF NEW COVENANT (Heb. 8:8-13) – BLOOD OF SPRINKLING – SPEAKING better than Abel (Heb. 11:4, 8:6, I Pet. 1:18-19, 2, Heb. 10:8-10)

16 Receiving Such a Kingdom… We should with grace and thanksgiving in our hearts… continue to offer service well-pleasing to God.

18 God is STILL A CONSUMING FIRE! God’s motive of FEAR is not to SCARE YOU TO DEATH – But rather to WAKE YOU UP so you can ESCAPE DEATH! (Deut. 5:29, 33)
