Peppered moths: sexual reproduction or mutation led to different variations of color within the moth species= dark or light. Then, the ENVIRONMENT (tree color) determined which trait is was better to have.

How many offspring are produced in one year? An Oak tree will make up to 2000 acorns each fall A single female field mouse can have 17 litters of babies in a year, and each litter can have up to 13 individuals = 221 babies One sunflower will produce 1000 seeds
