7 Conclusion The Grape Fanta weighed the most at 388 grams Followed by Coke at 385 grams Sprite at 384 grams Diet Coke at 369 grams My prediction was that the Diet Coke would weigh the most but it was the lightest

8 The amount of sugar per can is: Diet Coke – 0 g Sprite – 35 g Coke – 39 g Grape Fanta – 48g The Grape Fanta contains the most sugar and therefore weighs the most of all the drinks The more sugar a drink contains the heavier it will be

9 Research The company also contends that it offers plenty of sugar free, low-calorie alternatives. Yet there are health concerns about diet drinks, too. For instance they instead of sugar they contain a sweetener called aspartame. Coca-Cola’ is the second most-recognized word in the world. The most- recognized word is ‘okay’. The health issues associated with sugar and high fructose corn syrup in soft drinks are well known: tooth cavities, weight gain and associated type 2 diabetes and heart disease. A study led by researchers at Imperial College London found that one can of fizzy drink a day can independently increase the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by one fifth.
