HTechnical solutions for wireless multimedia typically need to include standards from multiple standards bodies e.g. IETF, MPEG, 3GPP2 etc HWMF technical publications reference standards and pull them together into a “framework”. HMakes use of existing standards. HWhere new functionality is required, work with appropriate standards bodies. HOutput: Recommended Technical Framework Documents

HAvoid duplication of effort and ensure that current efforts in each group are in harmony with each other. HAlignment of 3GPP2 standards work and WMF technical recommendations and application requirements. HAlignment is an important first step in stabilizing and creating the market!
