14 Service providers – a call to action What do service providers need to do to get ready: 1) Ensure your organisation has an organisation administrator If not, please send an email to MyAgedCare@health.gov.auMyAgedCare@health.gov.au 2) Ensure your Organisation Administrator is set-up and has activated outlet(s) Refer to the My Aged Care Provider Portal User Guide: Part One – Administrator functions 3) Ensure an outlet team leader is monitoring referrals Refer to the My Aged Care Provider Portal User Guide: Part Two – Team Leader and Staff Member functions 14 December 201513My Aged Care Webinar

15 Reminder about referral pathways Referrals from My Aged Care An electronic referral in the provider portal Depending on client choice, either preferred service, or broadcast A referral code to provide to their preferred service provider Referrals approved before My Aged Care Clients approved for Aged Care Act 1997 services pre My Aged Care Providers receive an approval letter and then need to continue to check approvals using the Aged Care Online Claiming system prior to commencing services.
