Condition Headaches are a dull or sharp pain in one’s head usually located on the forehead, behind the eyes or the ears. From Merriam-Webster online “pain in the head” From Dictionary.com online “a pain located in the head, as over the eyes, at the temples, or at the base of the skull.”

Causes common colds caffeine muscle tension bright lights not enough sleep not eating enough dehydration

Symptoms You know you have a headache, if you feel sharp needle like pains in your forehead or behind your eyes that won’t go away.

Modern Medicine Remedies Aspirin Take 1 to 2 aspirin with a glass of water to relieve the headache Acetaminophen Take 1 to 2 tablets to relieve a headache

Modern Medicine Remedies Excedrin Drink a full glass of water when taking the tablet to relieve a headache

Folk Medicine Remedies Apple Cider Vinegar Boil the cider and then inhale the fumes Eucalyptus oil Use the oil to rub on your temples to help relieve a headache.

Folk Medicine Remedies Peppermint Tea Make a hot tea and drink 2 cups in a day.

Headache Summary There are many ways to cure or relieve a headache. You can use either aspirin, a modern medicine remedy, or you can use feverfew leaves, a folk medicine remedy. You must choose which one works best for you.
