Have you ever thought that food could run out? Are you consuming them the right way? Have you tried to conserve them? Did you know that we are running out of food because of our misuse? We are all wasting this precious resource. Water is the key of life. If we don’t act NOW, then we won’t live. You can live without food for one month, but can only survive without water for 5 to 7 days.

1. 2% of the worlds water is fresh 2.Of all the earth's water, 97% is salt water found in oceans and seas 3.The human body is about 75% water 4.Every day in the United States, we drink about 110 million gallons of water 5.Showering and bathing are the largest indoor uses (27%) of water domestically 6.Each person needs to drink about 2 ½quarts (80 ounces) of water every day. 7.Run your dishwasher and washing machine only when they are full 8.Avoid flushing the toilet unnecessarily. Dispose of tissues, insects and other such waste in the trash rather than the toilet.

Did you know that about 88% of all milk is water and only about 12% is solid substance that has food value? There are over 400 varieties of natural cheeses! The world's rarest coffee cost $300 a pound. It is called Kopi Luwak and comes from Indonesia Ketchup was originally sold as a medicine in the 1830's

Buy locally grown food Try to avoid packaged food Take what you can eat Bring your own bag Buy eggs that are certified organic Buy juice in reusable bottles Buy fair-trade items Buy from ThreeSixty Organic and Sustainable Supermarket (360˚)

Use grey water Use showers instead of baths because they use less water Don’t let water run when brushing teeth Use water from rinsing fruits and vegetables to water plants Soak pots and pans instead of leaving water running Avoid flushing unnecessarily

The Advantages: Students can have some draft paper if they want to in math lessons to do some sums Some people like to send letters or postcards because they hadn’t seen for a long time or for some important messages. Paper can make into creative things such as origami and some paper planes. The Disadvantages: People waste a lot of paper and if we don’t recycle paper, more trees would be cut down. Some companies send lots of useless advertisement and it wastes a lot of paper. On the street, people hand out brochures to make people go to their company. WHAT A WASTE OF PAPER!!!!!
