LEARNING & EVALUATION SITUATIONS An LES is a series of learning activities (LA) through which students build resources (knowledge, techniques, strategies, etc.) that lead to a complex task (CT) (a new situation where students apply what they have learned). LA CT Demonstration of competencies In student-centered learning situations, the teacher’s role is to support learning and decide & record what counts as evidence. Demonstratio n of competencies Students should be able to explain, justify, and evaluate their choices, decisions, and actions.
