Visitors- Police, PCOS, TfL Awareness of law- e-safety, JRSOs, school councillors to children’s parliament Teaching- Discussion of First News, Road safety, scooter school, pedestrian training, learning about newspapers uniform

2 Rule of Law Respecting school rules Making responsible choices Taking leadership roles Agreeing rules and sanctions Respecting authority Thinking for ourselves Being fair Taking responsibility for our actions Choosing our behaviour Being safe

3 Junior Road Safety Officers provide the school with information on keeping safe and within the law as they travel Our local Safer Neighbourhoods Team talks to us about being safe around people we don’t know. Year 2 visit the local fire station to learn about fire safety. We understand our school rules and enjoy rewards for following them

4 The JRSOs ran a safety poster competition The Bright Brothers taught us to, ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’.
