Others hold that students should have the choice of whether or not to eat or drink them. The sale of candy and soda pop should be banned in schools because of the weight gain, energy issues, and diabetic crisis affecting our youths.

5. First Body Paragraph Sample One reason why schools should ban the sale of candy and soda pop is the accumulation of fat (weight gain) in the students that consume the unhealthy products. Candy and soda pop have complex sugars, which give them flavoring. When they are digested, they are no longer just tasty sweeteners. Instead, the sugar is stored in the body as fat, putting strain on the heart and increasing the risk of heart disease. This can, in turn, lead to energy issues within the body.

Because of the three major health concerns, the sale of candy and soft drinks should be banned in schools.

If this is done, it will result in a reduction of weight, energy issues, and Type One Diabetes.
