2 Business Letters Business letters are a fundamental form of communication. They are used for formal business correspondence to communicate –offers of employment –price quotations –information to customers There is a variety of delivery methods: –hand –mail or courier –fax –attached to an e-mail or pasted into an electronic format

5 Letter Styles Full-block –All parts are aligned at the left-hand side of the page. Block –All parts are aligned at the left-hand side of the page with the exception of return address, date line complimentary closing, signature, writer’s identification Semi-block –Same as block but first line of paragraphs are also indented.
