Higgs Farm@puhep Higgs Cluster –SLC 3.0.8 NIS, webserver, Samba (http://higgsino.puhep.res.in/~username/http://higgsino.puhep.res.in/~username/ –12 P3/P4 terminals/nodes –Gigabit Network – 2 TB NAS, disk quotas managed. –Farm load monitoring (mrtg and sun grid engine): manual (automation in progress) –access available on Wireless Network

9. CMSSW on Higgs Farm 1_4_1 version is working : latest –1_3_0, 1_3_1 versions –Used for local generation CRAB installation is in the pipeline –Will be tested with the UI eg. job submission, output retrieval

10. Hardware Upgrade 2 Systems, IBM x226, CPU 2.4 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 1.2 TB Raid Storage –x86_64, SLC 3.0.8, (CMSSW is being installed)‏ SAN storage being added = 1.5 TB Access via Higgs Farm Total storage SAN+NAS = 3.5 TB

11. Future Planning Hardware: –IBM and SUN, Optron Dual 2.4 GHz(Rack Mounted)‏ –Network bandwidth upgrade (some inputs from June DAE-Grid meeting)‏ UI access to all users will be tested (works only from single user account)‏ UI Test: submitting CMSSW jobs to GRID
