8. How can you show 9? (put 9 counters on the first ten-frame) How can you show 3? (put 3 counters on the second ten-frame) You can make a full ten first by moving one counter from the second ten-frame to the first ten-frame. Now we have 10 + 2 10 + 2 = 12 so 9 + 3 = 12 Let’s try some more. Let’s Explore!!
