Needs Analysis  The Digital Divide –Middle aged & the elderly people have missed out on opportunities to learn about technology –Many classes offered through businesses or colleges are too difficult for seniors & middle aged students –When these students were in school, technology classes were not offered

3. Problem Statement  The Central Gwinnett Community (Lawrenceville, GA) does not offer the type of classes to give seniors and middle aged students the opportunity to learn technology skills.

4. Learners  Age 40+, predominantly female  Knowledge of Excel & Word is very limited  Below average computer skills & little prior knowledge  Psychomotor skills such as using a mouse are elementary and insufficient  Visual/tactile learners  Self motivated, knowledge seeking

5. Context  Performance Context –Environment of application will vary  Learning Environment –High school computer lab classroom –Computers, software, text provided –Adaptable to various work environments –Constraints, varying software versions
