MEMBER RECOGNITION HANDBOOK RECOGNITION RESOURCES SUMMER BOARD 2010 The Member Recognition Handbook is a twenty or so page guidebook with descriptions of the following: DESCRIPTIONS OF ALL FORMS REQUIRED FOR CONTEST APPLICATIONS LISTS OF ALL AVAILABE CONTEST AND AWARDS CONTEST DUE DATES HELPFUL APPLICATION TIPS It may be found under the ‘Recognition’ tab of the CNH CyberKey under the ‘Resources’ sub-tab.

3. MEMBER RECOGNITION TUTORIALS RECOGNITION RESOURCES SUMMER BOARD 2010 The Member Recognition Tutorials have been created in order to aid members in the process of submitting applying for awards. They cover most of the steps and functions necessary in the creation of e-portfolios. There are currently six (6) one-page tutorials. These cover information as follows: HOW TO CREATE AND MERGE PDFS MICROSOFT EXCEL TIPS AND TRICKS HOW TO CREATE SECTIONS ON MICROSOFT WORD COOL TIPS AND TRICKS ON MICROSOFT WORD GRAPHIC STANDARDS ORGANIZING FOLDERS These tutorials may be found under the ‘Recognition’ tab of the CNH CyberKey under the ‘Resources’ sub-tab. They include step-by-step directions as well as screenshots.

4. MEMBER RECOGNITION POWERPOINTS RECOGNITION RESOURCES SUMMER BOARD 2010 The Member Recognition PowerPoint has been created for use by club officers throughout the district. It is highly recommended that each club board spend a club meeting covering the Member Recognition process. The Member Recognition PowerPoint is a resource that club officers may use at such a club meeting. The PowerPoint consists of approximately 20 slides and is intended for a 20 informational session. It covers Awards and Contests, Yearlong Recognition, and Recognition Resources. The PowerPoint may be extended or shortened by the presenting club officer. The Member Recognition PowerPoint will be distributed through ALL CNH Club Officer reflectors and will be posted online on the CNH CyberKey.
