4. History of AYNU ● 12 th century, AYNU started living in Hokkaidou. ● Until 18 th century, AYNU controlled Hokkaidou. ● 19 th century, AYNU governed by the government. ● In 1997, it was established the Law of AYNU.

5. Actual Condition of AYNU Discrimination against AYNU. Many parents of AYNU have been so concerned whether their children fit into Japanese society. The connecting their children to their family has been very thin and Ainu heritage has been going out.

6. Conclusion ● We have to think about AYNU and understand their traditional culture and lifestyle. ● We don’t discriminate against AYNU. Then, Ainu heritage will be remained all the while. ● AYNU is the only minority group in Japan, we have to hand down forever.
