4. Qi Channel Licensing
780 Qi uses a hardware key to enable Channel Licenses
More robust than the software enabled mechanisms used by the JagXtreme.
Requires hardware swap to change # of licenses (Master Reset required)
Easily transferred to another IND780 (no special firmware required)

11. IND780 Terminal - Setup Cluster
Navigate to "Communication | Network | Cluster | This Terminal"
This address must be the same for all units in the cluster – but DIFFERNET from any other cluster. Be sure to change default address to avoid conflicts!
Each unit in the cluster must have a unique node number. If there is only one unit in the cluster, this must still be set up!
This is the first half of the Cluster Configuration – Done for all ALL terminals in the Cluster.

12. IND780 Terminal - Setup Cluster: Q.i Configuration
This is the second half of the Cluster Configuration – Done only on the Master Terminal
Navigate to "Application | Q.i Configuration | Terminal"
This defines the type of PLC communications used. Select "Classic" unless access to special features is required.
Note that this is NOT the same thing!
Short feed is a special mode that allows running K1/K2 feeds below 7 seconds. Use only under direction of Mettler Toledo!

13. IND780 Terminal – Setup PLC/DCS Communications
ControlNet Card
Navigate to "Communications | PLC Interface | ControlNet"
Set new node address.
Must cycle power to make address active.
Ethernet/IP Card
Navigate to "Communications | PLC Interface | EtherNet/IP"
Configure the desired Network setup.
Power cycle not required.

14. IND780 Terminal - PLC/DCS Comms, Data Format
Navigate to "Communications | PLC Interface | Data Format"
These can be used if NO PLC or DCS system is controlling the Q.i (Q.i is driven by a Task Expert application for example).
This is the DEFAULT setting, and is what most Q.i applications should use.
