WHO DOES IT AFFECT? Diagnosed in 1 out of every 150 children - typically by the age of 3. HOW IS IT DIAGNOSED? As developmental milestones are missed or delayed, parents are given the Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (M-CHAT) As developmental milestones are missed or delayed, parents are given the Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (M-CHAT)

HOW IS IT DIAGNOSED? If any 2 critical questions are “failed” or any 3 questions are failed, it is recommended that the child should be tested more in- depth by a specialist
