2. What is Alternative Spring Break? Community service-learning initiative that involves partnering with an organization for service work This program combines direct service, reflection, and education on a specific theme

In the months leading up to the experience, students:  fundraise to offset their trip costs  learn about a specific theme relevant to their trip location, such as poverty, human rights, or environmentalism  pre-departures for team building, travel logistics and student learning
