Steam Turbine

Steam Turbine Types 1- Straight Condensing turbines which allow steam to expand to the lowest possible pressure before it is condensed into water. 2- Back-pressure and topping turbines in which steam is exhausted before it is fully expanded. Generally, provide low pressure steam for heating or process. 3- Extraction turbine in which steam is extracted (controlled or uncontrolled) during the expansion process for use in othe application such as district heating.
