© OECD A joint initiative of the OECD and the European Union, principally financed by the EU Existing Situation Sum-up l 60 % of central government, regional and local agencies regularly stipulate environmental requirements, but… l In 1/3 of the cases environmental requirements are framed in such a way that they have no effect! l This implies a lack of knowledge about ways of formulating environmental requirements

© OECD A joint initiative of the OECD and the European Union, principally financed by the EU Cost-Benefit Analysis l The combined proposals are expected to provide an effective means of removing obstacles to green public procurement. l The total cost to the state of these proposals for the duration of the three-year action plan is estimated at approximately EUR 2 million
