3 Mysterious Death died in 1917 at the age of 39 disappeared during a canoeing trip on Canoe Lake in Algonquin Park fishing wire wrapped around his leg 17 times and sustained an injury on his left temple accidental death due to drowning seemed unlikely because he was an expert canoeist
