WAIT… What advocacy? The CHILD LIFE PROGRAM. The Child Life Program provides psychosocial care for pediatric cancer patients by helping them cope with the stress and anxiety brought about in a hospital setting. At the same time, it assists in the child’s normal growth and development.

Logistics Before Event: Contact Suppliers, Make Wishing Wall, Order Paraphernalia, Children’s Transportation During Event: Prepare all needed equipments, Deliver meals, Prepare Booths, Ushering System Venue Decoration, Transportation, Wishing Wall, Food Booths, Equipments and Effects: Sound System, Registration Booth, Kythe Exhibit, Security and Ushering System, Paraphernalia: T- Shirt, Caps, Laminated ID tags, Stickers IMMEDIATE: ◦ Conceptualize the needs of the Wishing Wall ◦ Find contacts for suppliers of the paraphernalia Shirt and Bandana already have Stickers, Laminated ID

Brainstorming Time! We want something UNIQUE in the event. Variety of Forms: Bubble Machine, Yellow/Blue Ribbons all over the place, Giant Photos of Children, Writing I Am Hope on People’s Arms, Giving them an IAH Mark Somewhere AND, What can we do to make it an EFFECTIVE CAMPAIGN?
