2. The Titanic; The California; The Carpathia Every believer and every church are either the California or the Carpathia

3.  Those in the best position to rescue either do not feel capable or they do not feel responsible.  The only way for every unbeliever to have a chance at rescue is if every believer becomes a rescuer.

4.  How every day believers can become spiritual rescuers 1) Begin with the ‘want to’ a) It is not just about beliefs to share but lives that are at stake.

6. 2) Understand why you are where you are 2Cor.5:20- Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. Esther 4:12-16 1Tim.1:12-16 a) Your situation is your assignment

7. 3) Move beyond your fear a) Fear is all about me; rescue is all about them. b) Be motivated by a fear greater than what might happen to you. ~~ What will happen to them.

8. c) Always remember that it is God that does the saving.

9. 4) Chose a burden with a name. a) Names are in the foundation of every church. Jn.1:40-42 Col.2:1- For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;

10. 5) Know how to get started a) Show and tell (Prove and Preach) b) Show them a difference they will respect. ~~ The only non-complainer or backbiter in the workplace. c) Pray for the Lord to open a door, their heart and your mouth. Col.4:3-4

11. d) Tell them what the Lord has done for you. Jn.4:39- And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did. Jn.9:25- He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.

12. 1Pet.3:15- But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

13. 6) Communicate the gospel so that lost people get it. a) A relationship they were created to have Col.1:16- For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

14. Rev.4:11- Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Jn.3:16- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

15. b) A relationship you do not have. c) To believe is to lay hold of the life of Christ; He is your only hope.

16. 7) Make prayer your primary rescue method. Jn.6:44- No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

17. Eph.6:19-20- And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
