The desire of my heart is that I shall be pleasing to God in all aspects of my life. I realize that inward purity exhibits itself through my outward actions but that actions themselves do not necessarily indicate a pure heart. I recognize that the guidelines God has given us in His Word are for the benefit of us as individuals and for mankind as a whole. I also understand that much of society refuses to believe this and is slowly moving towards a mindset that considers evil good and good evil. Therefore I commit myself to serving God with all of my heart and not simply my mind. I will shun the very appearance of evil and will not allow the pressures of society, and its views, to sway my commitment to Biblical holiness and righteousness.
