About the State Administrators iCivics is administered in Florida by The Florida Law Related Education Association, Inc. Private, nonprofit dedicated to civic and law related education/ education for democracy Spanning three decades of respected programs. Nonpartisan, law-focused, grassroots. Efforts have expanded statewide and internationally.

Your Role As a Master Teacher Become proficient and reflective in use of iCivics; Serve in an advisory capacity to iCivics; Design innovative professional development models; Train other teachers in the effective use of iCivics lessons, games, and features; Serve as Ambassadors for iCivics.

The Charge iCivics will ask each Master Teacher or team to plan and deliver 2-3 professional development trainings, with each training averaging around 15 teachers.(Ex: district, schools, regional, etc.) Work with FLREA to coordinate state or regional trainings or to volunteer to train in other districts. Alternatively, a Master Teacher can plan and deliver a lzrge district- wide training in which he or she impacts 50-75 local teachers in one program.
